Gretchen is a poised and professional dental hygienist who delivers exceptional preventive care with confidence and precision. Although Gretchen is relatively new to the office, she has worked in hygiene for over 40 years. Known for her polished presence, strong clinical skills, and clear patient communication, she consistently provides thorough, high-quality care while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. Their refined chairside manner and attention to detail make them a trusted member of the dental team.

Dr. Arrigo has owned and operated his own dental practice since 1985, and over the years, he’s built a reputation not only for his excellent care but for his fun-loving, goofy personality that always puts a smile on everyone’s face. Although officially retired, Dr. Arrigo still enjoys popping into the office to hang out with patients and soak in the positive, welcoming vibes of the team. When he’s not at the office, you can find him relaxing in Florida or Wisconsin, enjoying the best of both worlds. His cheerful spirit and love for his patients continue to be a big part of our practice, even in retirement.

Michelle has been lighting up our office since 1988. She’s passionate about making every patient feel at ease while bringing a fun and positive atmosphere to each appointment. Whether she’s assisting with a procedure or helping patients feel comfortable, her enthusiasm and upbeat attitude never fail to make the visit more enjoyable. Outside of the office, Michelle loves spending time with her grandchildren and always has a new fun story to share!

Michele has been a valuable member of our team for 29 years, originally starting as a dental assistant before transitioning to the front office as our receptionist. With her extensive knowledge of the dental field, she’s an expert at guiding patients through the scheduling process and ensuring everything runs smoothly. Her friendly demeanor and attention to detail make her an essential part of our practice. Outside of work, Michele loves spending time with her husband and three sons, always finding joy in family activities and making memories together.

Dr. Anast has been dedicated to the dental field since 2012, and her journey to becoming a dentist was fueled by a lifelong passion for oral health. She graduated with her undergraduate degree from Illinois State University before attending Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine, where she earned her dental degree. Having been a patient at this practice for many years, Dr. Anast was thrilled to take ownership in the summer of 2023, continuing a legacy of exceptional care. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her dog, Millie (who you may spot around the office), and her husband, Nick. Dr. Anast is committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to each of her patients, just as she experienced herself growing up in the community.

Miranda has been passionate about dentistry since 2020 and earned her dental hygiene degree from Prairie State College in 2023. Dedicated to providing top-notch care, she works hard to ensure that every patient feels comfortable and well-cared for. Born and raised in the south suburbs, Miranda has come to love both the neighborhood and her patients, making her feel right at home in the office. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active by joining pilates classes, hiking, and working out to keep fit and energized.

Cassidy brings a mix of professionalism and fun to our office, ensuring every patient feels relaxed and cared for. With a passion for dental care, she plays a key role in assisting with procedures and providing a comfortable, positive experience for everyone who walks through the door. Outside of work, Cassidy loves to spend her free time with her Bernedoodles, Giolito & Dallas, and enjoys exploring new places around the world. She’s always ready to share her latest travel stories and adorable dog moments!

Bridget is a valued member of our dental team, supporting both our clinical and front desk operations. As a dental assistant, she takes pride in helping patients feel comfortable and cared for during their visits. At the front desk, she is organized, attentive, and always happy to help with scheduling or questions. Though naturally quiet, Bridget is kind and dependable. Her calm presence and dedication help ensure each patient feels welcomed and well cared for from check-in to treatment.

Taylor is a dependable and kind-hearted dental assistant who brings warmth, patience, and professionalism to every patient interaction. They are committed to making patients feel comfortable and supported while assisting the dental team with care and efficiency. Their thoughtful nature and reliability contribute to a positive experience for both patients and coworkers.

Cheryl is a long-standing and dedicated dental assistant who has been an integral part of our practice for many years. Known for her compassion, consistency, and kindness, Cheryl helps patients feel at ease while providing dependable support to the dental team. Their experience, loyalty, and strong work ethic make them a trusted presence in both patient care and daily operations. We are grateful for their continued commitment and the positive impact they have on our practice.

Adeline is a dental assistant who brings a positive attitude and strong work ethic whenever she is in the office. Currently working toward becoming a dental hygienist, at Malcolm X, she is eager to expand her skills and knowledge while providing compassionate care and dependable support to both patients and the dental team. Their dedication to professional growth and patient comfort makes them a welcome presence in the practice.

Shaylee is an enthusiastic and dedicated member of our team, bringing a positive attitude and a strong passion for dentistry to every patient interaction. Currently pursuing her undergraduate degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), Shaylee has her sights set on becoming a dentist one day. In the meantime, she enjoys gaining hands-on experience in the office, assisting with procedures, and helping to ensure that each visit is as comfortable and efficient as possible. Outside of work and school, Shaylee loves playing pickleball, doing arts and crafts and learning everything she can to further her dental career.
